Don’t Allow Anything
You may not determine what happens to you today, but you should decide how to respond to anything that happens to you.
Don’t allow anything to trouble you that much. If you can change it, change it! If you help out, help out! If you don’t have the capacity to change it or help out, don’t worry about it.
Do what you can and leave the rest. God and nature will take care of the rest.
Be contented with what you have, no matter how small. You came here with nothing. You will leave this world with nothing.
Don’t overburden yourself. Don’t over-analyse issues. But become complacent. Work to improve yourself and to be of value to others. This is the only thing that matters.
If you must compete, compete only with yourself – to be better today than you were yesterday – to produce a better version of yourself every day. If you maintain this attitude of mind, you will enjoy peace money and position not offer you.
Don’t allow how people treat you, what the economy or politics does to you determine the peace of your heart. Take charge of your life.
You’re more than all these. God are extension of God. Stay stable. Immovable. Let your confidence be in God and in your ability to handle what you can.
Do what you can and leave off what you can’t handle. You’re not created to solve every problem.
