God desires that you prosper

God desires that you prosper

By Rev. Dr. Joseph C. Ibekwe

Almost every time the word prosperity is mentioned, people think in terms of money or material things. This narrow understanding of the scriptural concept of prosperity has led to many people either supporting  it or rejecting it. meanwhile prosperity is God’s perfect will for His people.
There are four key areas that God wants you to enjoy prosperity in your life.
Prosperity in your health.
Without good health, everything in your life amounts to nothing. If you are a believer, you enjoy health prosperity by affirming your health via the word, that is, speaking the word of God into your life. You also enjoy health prosperity by living a healthy lifestyle – eat right, exercise right, sleep well enough, take good rest.
Prosperity of your Soul.
You establish your soul by reading, studying and meditating on God’s word. You need the word to refine your character and lifestyle.
Prosperity of your Pocket.
You need money to pay your bills. God has given you the power to get wealth. That power is manifest in ideas. Ideas rule the world. You work ideas, and they produce wealth. You enjoy prosperity of pocket by seeking and taking advantage of income generating opportunities – that is, solving problems for others and getting paid for it. You also enjoy prosperity of pocket by reducing your expenses – increasing your assets and reducing your liabilities.
 Prosperity of your head.
You need to increase on your knowledge base. Expand your reading. Be selective of what you watch. Listen to teaching tapes that build you up in knowledge of important issues of life.
When you pay attention to these four areas of prosperity, you cannot be stranded. You will be a blessing to others.
Prosperity is God’s desire for you. This is clearly stated in 3John 2. “Beleoved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even thy soul prospereth”
If you are not born again, your prosperity begins with receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. It’s not a difficult thing to do.
If you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and you confess with your mouth that God raised Him from dead, you are saved.
You can do it now! Say this prayer:
“Father, I come to you now! I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I confess that God raised him from the dead. I receive Jesus into my heart today, as my Lord and saviour. My sins are washed by the blood of Jesus. I am free. I am saved. Thank you Lord for saving me. Amen!
You are blessed.
